We want you to buy Type It only if it genuinely earns a place in your menu bar. If it doesn't, getting your money back is simple.
01 30-day money-back guarantee
You can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase (for the lifetime plan) or your most recent charge (for the annual subscription plan), no questions asked. There's also a free 14-day trial, so you can try every Pro feature before you ever pay.
02 How to request a refund
You have two easy ways to ask for a refund:
- Email us at[email protected]and we'll take care of it.
- Or request it directly through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, which processed your payment.
Subscribers can also cancel the annual plan anytime from the "Manage subscription" link in the app — access continues until the end of the paid period, no partial refund needed for a simple cancellation.
03 What happens after a refund
When a refund is issued, the associated license is deactivated and Type It returns to the Free plan on your Macs. Your notes and local data are never touched — they stay on your device.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method by Dodo Payments. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
